The Junior Beta Club of Bay Haven Charter Academy is a local chapter of the National Beta Club of America.  The Beta Club embraces high achievement in academics, promotes leadership skills, and provides opportunities to give back to the community.  Our chapter was established in 2004 with a current membership of 234 middle school students.

During this past school year, Bay Haven Middle School was the top school for donations in used books and in providing canned goods for the Salvation Army annual food drive.  Beta Club also volunteers in conjunction with the PTSP (Parent Teacher Student Partnership), in a wide variety of school functions.

Qualification requirements are available through the school’s appointed teacher sponsor.  After students qualify to become members, the Bay Haven Junior Beta Club stages a moving and beautiful induction ceremony for the new incoming members.  Family and friends are invited to witness and be a part of their child’s accomplishment. To obtain more information regarding the Beta Club, go to the main website at www.betaclub.org.  For information about our school’s chapter, contact our sponsor, Mrs. Paula Weaver at weavepj@bay.k12.fl.us.
